| What does West Coast Motorsport, Inc. (WCM) do? |
We invite you to let West Coast Motorsport build your next car and have it delivered to your home or office worldwide. You choose the car -- Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes, or Porsche -- and the parts. We will do the rest. Not only will you save time and money by having the vehicle customized to your exact specifications at the time of delivery, but knowing the job was done right by technicians that work on these cars everyday, brings a peace-of-mind that you will certainly appreciate. |
| |
| What sort of premium is involved with this service? |
You might think this service comes at a serious premium, but it does not. In most cases, you will pay under MSRP for the vehicle, and retail price or below for the parts you select. Not only will you get the car of your dreams, in one convenient, hassle-free package, but you will save time and money as well! How is that possible you may ask? We look at two things: profit in the total package, and potential for greater volume by charging less than it would cost you to do it yourself. As an Auto Broker, we typically buy vehicles at "dealer cost," allowing us to discount the vehicle and still make money. All factory rebates, incentives, and programs are in tact as if you bought it from your local dealer -- the difference is, there was no haggling, no clashing egos, and you got a better price. As a retailer of AC Schnitzer, AMG, Brabus, Brembo, Breyton, Carlsson, Hamann, Hartge, Novitec Rosso, Lorinser, Lowenhart, Maya, Oettinger, StopTech, and TechArt, we buy parts at "wholesale" and are able to re-sell at "retail," or below retail, and still make money. Consequently, there is no need to gouge our customers. You will get a more-than-fair price, while getting the perfect car for business or pleasure. |
| |
| Does West Coast Motorsport only specialize in high-end luxury and exotics? |
| Sure, we can ship a fully customized Novitec Rosso Ferrari F430 to your front door, but we can just as easily ship an AC Schnitzer E90 3-series to your office. You may choose to order a Mercedes CLS 500 with only a set of Lowenhart wheels, window tint, and a Lorinser Roof Spoiler . . . or you may want a track-ready, supercharged M3 that eats Corvettes for lunch. It is your choice! West Coast Motorsport delivers style and performance. |

| End of Lease / Sale of Vehicle |
| Q: What will happen at the end of the lease or when I decide to sell the vehicle? |
| A: West Coast Motorsport, Inc. (WCM) suggests a couple possible scenarios . . . |
| Option: 1: Sell the vehicle at, below, or above the balance due to the lender. |
| Option 2: At the end of a lease, refinance the vehicle for 24, 36, 48, or 60 months with the intention of owning the vehicle or reducing the total amount owed to a point where selling the vehicle would allow for a gross profit on the sale. |
|
| Financing Options: |
| Q: Does West Coast Motorsport, Inc. offer financing? |
| A: Absolutely! First, we will establish your needs to determine which type of financing will work best for you. Next, we determine which lender has the best rate (without running your credit a dozen times), or that will assign the highest residual value to the vehicle - which means lower payments and cash savings for you. In many cases, we arrange the financing through the Dealer where we are purchasing the vehicle, such as Mercedes Benz Credit. All paperwork can be done via fax and overnight delivery, so there is no need for you to ever leave your home or office. You will get the best price on the vehicle, the best rate we can find on the loan, and top notch service throughout the process! |
|
| Q: Can West Coast Motorsport, Inc. offer the same incentives as my local dealer? |
| A: Absolutely! Any of the incentives offered by a car manufacturer through the local dealers are also available through West Coast Motorsport, Inc. Whether it's a factory rebate, maintenance for 48 mos, or a special financing offer, whatever the manufacturer is offering at the time of your lease or purchase will be 100% available to you as a WCM customer. |
|
| Q: Can I finance the cost of the aftermarket products into my payment? |
| A: Yes. Whether you finance (purchase), lease, or buy the car in cash, you will have only one payment, or one invoice. |
|
| Lease vs. Buy |
| Q: Should I Lease or Buy the vehicle? |
| A: Of course, this is a multifaceted question with a number of variables that are affected by income, cash flow, credit, financial goals, savings, investments, the length of time you intend to keep the car, tax issues/advantages/disadvantages, payment figures, resale value, and so on. Visit our Leasing page to find out more about the factors one should consider when deciding to Lease or Buy. |
|
| Q: How much money should I put down? |
A: The dollar amount may vary with the price of the vehicle. Of course, the more you put down (whether you choose a lease or sales contract), the lower your payment. Some clients choose to put absolutely $0 down, while others may put down several thousand dollars or more. It's your choice. We'll make it work. |
|
| Installation |
| Q: Who will install the parts on my vehicle? |
| A: The performance and style accessories you choose will be installed by the very best company for the job! For example, if you order a Mercedes-Benz S550 with a Brabus Body Kit, Pedal Kit, Door Sills, Lowering Module, and Brabus Wheels, we will put the car on a flatbed and have the work done at Brabus. |
|
| Q: Who will warranty the installation and the products? |
| A: The products will be warranted by the manufacturer. The installation will be warranted by the company that installed the products on your new vehicle. WCM will address any issues or concerns directly with the client, and in turn, work with the manufacturer, distributor, or installer to remedy the issue as quickly as possible. |
|
| Q: What will happen in the event of a mechanical failure related to my aftermarket products? |
| A: Most of the aftermarket products we offer are of the highest quality and comparable to OEM parts. However, in the event that there is a mechanical failure of the aftermarket products WCM has installed, your local dealer will most likely be able to service the vehicle (as most products are straight "bolt-on" parts). If the product needs to be returned (under warranty) or exchanged, you will be able to install the stock part in the meantime. Each case will need to be handled individually and WCM will do whatever it takes to resolve each matter as quickly as possible. |
|

|
| Q: Where will I pick up my new vehicle? |
| A: Wherever it is convenient for you! WCM will deliver your new vehicle to your door (some restrictions apply) - whether it's your home, office, gym, or county club! WCM can ship vehicles worldwide, or via enclosed trailer (upon request) within the continental United States. |
|
| Performance Products & Stock Parts |
| Q: What will I do with my stock parts? |
| A: WCM's clients will have 14 days from the date of sale to select one of the following options. If arrangements have not been made after 14 days, WCM nor its affiliates, will be liable or held responsible for the return of the stock parts (factory parts). |
Note: WCM offers a variety of simple solutions for storing, selling, or returning your stock parts. We urge our clients to consider what they plan to do with the vehicle at the end of their lease or sales contract. According to their decision (at the time) West Coast Motorsport, Inc. can accommodate each client's needs.
|
| Storage: |
| West Coast Motorsport, Inc. can wrap and store your stock parts until the end of your lease or sales contract. At that time, you may wish to: |
| 1. Have WCM reinstall your stock parts |
| 2. Sell the car with the modified products and have WCM assist you in selling the stock parts |
| 3. Reinstall the stock parts and have WCM assist you in selling the aftermarket products. |
Note: West Coast Motorsport, Inc. offers 36, 48, and 60 month contracts for parts storage. The fee is $50 per month. For your convenience, WCM can bill the fee to your credit card on 5th day of each month. Or, for even greater convenience, choose to pay annually and receive a 10% discount.
|
|
Selling Your Stock Parts: |
| WCM has a Classified Ads page where your stock parts can be sold at a price predetermined by you (the seller). WCM also has affiliations with wharehouses specializing in used (factory) parts. West Coast Motorsport, Inc. can arrange the sale of your stock parts to such a warehouse upon request. Please be aware that this solution will offer only a fraction of what the parts sell for at the retail level. |
| Return of Your Stock Parts: |
| If you wish to store or sell the factory items (replaced with high-performance aftermarket products) on your own, WCM can ship the products to your home or office. |
|
| Q: Can I sell my stock parts? |
| A: WCM may be able to assist you in selling your stock parts, as mentioned above, or you may choose to sell your stock parts in any number of ways (e.g., Recycler.com, eBay). Please note that you may need the stock parts at the end of your lease, when selling the vehicle, in the event of a warranty issue, if you decide to put the vehicle back to its stock form, and/or if your aftermarket parts are damaged. |
|
| SMOG / State Inspection |
| Q: How will my car pass the SMOG or State Inspection? |
| A: In most cases, customizing your vehicle will not affect the SMOG or State Inspection. Wheels, tires, suspension upgrades, brake upgrades, transmission upgrades, and styling can all be done without impacting your chances of passing SMOG or State Inspection. Normally, there is a "visual" inspection in addition to the actual tests run on the vehicle - here you may need to reinstall your factory airbox (when applicable) to pass the visual inspection. Many aftermarket air intake systems have been CARB (California Air Resource Board) certified, so look for the certification number on the part or on a paper certificate that accompanies the part. Having this number should satisfy the requirements of a SMOG or State Inspection facility. |
|
| Warranty & Service |
| Q: What happens to my factory warranty? |
| A: In most cases, the factory warranty will be unaffected by the installation of aftermarket products. However, the installation of some aftermarket products will affect your factory warranty. Each case in handled on an individualized basis. Most aftermarket products carry a minimum 12 month warranty. Some products (e.g., Tokico) offer a lifetime warranty (which far exceeds the manufacturer's warranty). WCM maintains detailed records of each clients transaction, so all of the products pre-installed on your vehicle can be easily traced back to the purchase/install date in the event of a warranty claim. |
| In some instances, the parts may even carry a warranty that matches the factory warranty (e.g., Brabus)! For example, in the unlikely event that you experience some difficulty with your new Brabus engine, Brabus will put their Chief Mechanic (laptop in hand) on a plane and your problem is being solved before you know it! |
|
| Q: Who can service my new vehicle? |
| A: Service can be done by your local dealer or mechanic. Be sure to keep all service records. It may be advantageous to use your local dealer so that you build rapport with the service department/service technicians. |
